Hazells Takes on the Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon

There’s nothing quite like a challenge to bring a team together, and this October, a few members of the Hazells team will be swapping property for running shoes as they take on the Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon.

Taking place on Sunday 18th October, the RunAMOK Bury St Edmunds Half Marathon will see runners take on 13.1 miles around Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding Suffolk countryside.
For our team, it’s a chance to step outside the office, challenge ourselves and do something together, although we’re sure there will be a few nerves between now and race day!

At Hazells, we know that being part of the local community means more than simply doing business here. For over 35 years, we’ve been proud to work across Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and the wider region, building relationships with our clients, local businesses and the communities around us.
Taking part in events like this is another way for our team to get involved in the place we’re proud to call home.

This year’s event is particularly special because it is supporting My WiSH Charity (the official charity partner of the race), with funds raised going towards the Cancer Unit at West Suffolk Hospital.
So, between now and October, there will be training runs, plenty of conversations about running shoes and probably a fair amount of wondering why we signed up in the first place!

We’ll be sharing our progress along the way, and hopefully we’ll see plenty of familiar faces out on the course on race day.
