Hazells Success Story: 22-24 Churchgate Street

Hazells are pleased to have acted on behalf of the vendors for the sale of 22-24 Churchgate Street, which completed last week. The property is a Grade II listed building, forming part of the medieval grid of the town centre. Historically it formed three separate units but has been developed over the years to form commercial units on the ground floor, with a self-contained flat above.

We sold the mixed-use property on behalf of a long-established management client. Hazells actively marketed the property and identified a number of interested parties. After negotiations, we opted for a preferred purchaser and agreed terms with them for the sale. The new owners have an active interest in period properties and have many ideas on bringing some new life to the building.
