If you are a landlord and you engage the services of a Managing Agent, you might be surprised to learn that they may be charging a surcharge on top of contractors invoices! This means you will be paying more than the going rate for the same work. With some agencies charging up to 25% extra, this can soon mount up.

At Hazells we don’t believe in this, and never put a mark up on any contractors invoices, meaning the price you pay for works is the same price as the contractors charge us. We think that fairness and transparency is always the way forward, and do what we can to keep your costs down, wherever possible, without scrimping on quality.
