New Planning Application Submitted at Stowupland, Suffolk

Following refusal in February 2020 by Mid Suffolk Council to an application for up to 71 dwellings on land to the south of Gipping Road a new application for up to 80 dwellings has been submitted on behalf of the landowner by their Planning Promoters. The earlier refusal which had been recommended for acceptance by the Planning Officer was refused on the basis it failed to deliver safe and suitable access for all persons to village services/ facilities and is outside the settlement boundaries of the Neighbourhood Plan.

The new application was validated in early April 2020. Hazells act on behalf of the landowner advising on planning promotion and will negotiate the sale of the land following receipt of planning consent.
