Agents Launch for Suffolk Park

HAZELLS WERE PLEASED TO HOST A SUCCESSFUL AGENTS LAUNCH FOR THE MAJOR SUFFOLK PARK DEVELOPMENT. Over 40 agents from across the Eastern Region attended the breakfast event at Ravenwood Hall Hotel to find out more information about this major development for Bury St Edmunds.  Attendees were given a bus tour of the site, heard a presentation from Simon Wilson of Jaynic, the Park’s developer, and the enjoyed a prize draw where the winner received a one gallon bottle of Sloe Gin! Suffolk Park is located just four miles west of Bury St Edmunds town centre adjacent to the existing Moreton Hall out-of-town business and retail area.  The site is provided with excellent access from the newly opened Eastern Relief Road (Rougham Tower Avenue) which links Moreton Hall with the newly improved Junction 45 of the A14. The first 10 acre site was pre-sold in Summer 2017 to Bury St Edmunds based RC Treatt.  Treatt are a global leadering beverage ingredient manufacturer who will be relocating from their existing facility at Northern Way to a purpose built 200,000 sq ft Head Quarters building on the site. In Spring 2017 the developers Jaynic obtained outline consent across the 114 acre site for 2 million sq ft of B1 and B8 uses.  Subsequently Jaynic have submitted a speculative reserved matters planning application for two logistics warehouses providing 150,000 sq ft and 205,000 sq ft respectively, with a target delivery date of Autumn 2018.  Work has also recently commenced on the main estate roads and infrastructure to serve the site. Richard Pyatt commented, “we are thrilled with the turn out and positive feedback received from the launch event.  The interest shown only goes to underline the significance of the development to both Bury St Edmunds and the wider region.” “Jaynic’s willingness to progress a speculative large logistics scheme demonstrates the significant interest and demand within this market, however we are also exploring some smaller scale speculative schemes which will offer units from 2,000 sq ft an up”. Interested parties should contact either Richard Pyatt or Jonathan Lloyd on 01284 702626.  For further information www.suffolk-park.uk
